Pantoum for the Old Bigfoot Dandelion Jamborees

A pesky dandelion field
is visited by only sev-
en Bigfoots, here to share a meal
of flowers growing on their graves.

It’s visited by lonely, sev-
ered robots often, who condemn
the flowers growing on the graves
and spray the field to keep them down.

Ere robots, often the condemned
would tiptoe there to blow a wish
and spray the field to keep it down-
right plentiful, that scrumptious dish.

Who’d tiptoe there to blow a wish
on April nights but Bigfoot gangs,
right plentiful! That scrumptious dish
could always sing and flutter tongues.

On April nights the Bigfoot gangs
were full of dandelions, poised
to always sing and flutter tongues,
fall down and make their whooping noise.

Now, full of dandelion pois-
on, Bigfoots here to share a meal
fall down and make their weeping noise
in pesky dandelion fields.
